Unhappy Need Help!

Need help everybody!!![FONT=Arial][SIZE=7]
What are the symptoms of an input shaft bearing gone bad? The other day I was driving my s2k when in second gear it started making a loud rattleling noice! So I went back home and started checking under the car and noticed that the noice was coming from inside the tranny! Another thing is that the noice would go away when pressing the clutch! Drove it around the block and the noice started to appear on every gear even when in neutral! Are my suspicions of a bad INPUT SHAFT BEARING correct!?

Well, I took the tranny down and a bunch of little ball bearins started dropping as I was opening the tranny! I dnt know were they came from bc the tranny is all sealed! The only opening is were the starter is located but that looks fine! One thing that I also noticed is that the pilot bearing was bad and also the clutch disk was gone! I replaced those parts did a tranny oil change as well. The throw out bearing is fine! I put everything back together and started the car and to my missery the rattleling noice was still there! I'm crushed I don't know what its is. Please help!!!

Did the pilot have bearings inside of it? did you check the face of the ISB and make sure the rubber seal was still in place.

The PB wasn't broken the bearings were still inside of it, the bearing that dropped from the tranny were very big they couldn't of been from the pilot bearing. There was about 8 of them.
