Default Ignition question

Normally ignition fires twice for each revolution of the engine (4cyl 4 stroke).
My S2000 engine ignition question:
What is the value of the ignition pulse per revolution in S2000
My guess is 4?

Thanks people

The ECU controls the ignition. it fires only when it is needed. It is not a wasted spark system. So it would be 2 pules per revolution.

The ECU only sends the signal to the coil that needs to be fired, when it needs to be fired.

So what are you programing? (Yes, I know what your car is)

Out of curiosity, when does the second spark occur? The exhaust stroke for emissions?

I have a Dash2 Race technology - almost like a small laptop but a dashboard.
http://www.race-technology.com/products_2_3.html High tech dash. Anything you want, its in the dash. There is a configuration that I need to know to control the ignition.
If you spend a little bit more in the sensor, you can even calculate your horsepower.

I have one too. I have just not installed it yet. For my install, I will be using an ECU cable to collect the info. Less wiring for me, more data available.

It can, you just have to connect it to what you want it to display. For the Fuel level, you have to mod the circuit. Engine temp is easy. It is a free standing full dash replacement. It also can be linked to the DL1 data logger. In my case I have both the DL1 and Dash2 linked to my AEM EMS by way of a custom ECU cable. So I can see it all with fewer connections.
