Default Need Help!

So I'm looking to purchase a tranny this coming week. I own a 2004 s2k, I know this year is when the trannys changed to ap2's! A member here from s2k (NSXTASI) is selling me a 2006 tranny with 8k miles! Will this year tranny fit my 2004? That's my question! Any inmput is would b greatly appreciated! Thanx

You don't need any help. The '04 to '09 are all the same. Good time to check and possibly replace the clutch. Make sure they lube the splines.

make sure you fork out the extra money for the honda hi temp urea grease. All the other grease sucks and your clutch will start to stick a few months down the road!

should be the same only change i can think of from 04-06 was the addition of the DBW

Learn from my mistake, my first clutch change out only lasted 20,000 miles before I had to do it again due to using the wrong grease in the throwout bearing. Much sticking clutch problems ensued. Had to buy new bearing, OEM disk, and throwout bearing guide. I wish I had just bit the bullet and bought the urea grease to start with, would have saved me a lot of money and trouble.
