Default Need help tranny/clutch problem... 04 s2k

well im really pissed off right now about to get rid of the car

here is the story so i changed my tranny fluid and diffy fluid yesterday it was pretty simple to the point used about 2 quarts on the tranny put it down let the excess drip thru the fill hole so it probably took about 1.7 closed it up everything was fine i used the manual tranny fluid from honda

did the same on the diffy fluid empties it out put a full bottle of mobil fully synthetic 75-90 drop it down let the excess drip thru the fill hole and closed it back up

took the car for a spin everything was perfect gears were going in smoothly ass hell

took the car out at night banged 2nd gear in and all of a sudden spits it out and a loud noice seems to be coming from the tranny.......

If i press the clutch all the way down the noice goes away once i let go of the clutch the noice comes right back a loud bangin noice.........

btw car has an aftermarket clutch and flywheel on it this is it below

What other performance mods do you have?

There have been a few AP2 trannies that have bit the dust with a 2nd gear issue. Of the one's I know, the tranny had to be rebuilt by the dealer under warranty...unfortunately, none of them were rebuilt as good as new.

sounds like you might be out of luck!
Suggest to drain your trans fluid again and check for metal, If it's all good, then it's prolly your clutch.

"Banging" gears is almost certainly the cause of the problem here. If you use excessive force to jam the transmission into any gear it can result in bent shift forks, as well as other problems. You only have to take a look at how tight everything is in this small transmission to understand there is no extra bulk/strength built into any of the parts.
It's not a coincidence that the failure occurred when you "banged" it into 2nd. Don't blame the car - blame the driver.
There are no spongy bushings to protect the shifting mechanism from abuse in this car - you have to drive it with respect.

if a car thats meant to be abused raced... comes with such a delicate tranny that you have to shift like a grandma with it so it doesn't break i rather go back to a civic
