need help installing a starter motor

Default need help installing a starter motor

Before anybody says it, Ive tried searching the forums for a good thread on how remove/replace the starter motor and havent been able to find anything worth while. Could somebody please point me in the right direction of something that will help me out?

Also, might as well buy a new knock sensor while you're at it

I did this last week and managed to not destroy the knock sensor. It is a total pain.

I did the above to remove the bolts and had to carefully pull the starter from below near the motor mount.

When I pulled the old one my bolts were so loose I was able shake it from the block by hand which was surprising.
