We have the motor pulled and are disconnecting the transmission.

We have the 9 bolts that connect that transmission to the motor out however, the motor and transmission will only separate around an inch.

What comes next? What are we missing?

Push engine trans together.
Remove clutch slave.
Remove throwout lever from the throwout bearing.
It'll then separate.

 

Thank you. I take it the way I remove the throwout lever is through the yellow plug?

Are there any other tips for reinstalling the engine/transmission? We pulled it from the top as one unit.
