Not relating to the rough idle, but compression. As for the #4 cylinder, here's a question to others - do 01s still have the 2 hole banjo bolts? The oil starvation/lack of enough oil may be wearing out the #4 cyl faster than the rest, right?

Have you tried swapping coilpacks and seeing if the misfires switch cylinders? or are they misfires on different cylinders @ the same time? If the plug had somehow fried a CP you'd be able to pinpoint which one, maybe.

Another update...

I removed the valve cover to be certain that the valve retainer keepers haven't sunken..here are the pictures...i see nothing wrong with them so far?

I didn't have any feeler gauges so I wasn't able to check valve clearances. I'm going to go buy some since the valve cover is already removed.

from my view the cams look to have some odd wear (scratching) for any honda motor. my guess would be from lack of lubrication. However this may just be common wear on the f20...anyone can comment?
