Mine is the same way what year is your car? My issue seems to be that the door lock servos have seen better days, I can hear them trying to move the lock and see it if you look closely they just don't have the umph to do it. My previous car had manual locks and so I just haven't done anything to fix it. Although the doors come off easy enough so it could be a pretty easy fix.

It's a '00. I bought it from an older lady who babied it and she said it works but she had it unhooked(but not taken out) because it didn't give her enough time to get in the car.....? Lolz

And an odd thing happened yesterday..... Opened the trunk with the key while the car was still locked and the alarm went off and wouldn't stop going off. Tried starting the car... Kept going. Finally I disconnected the battery. Hooked it back up and it kept going off. So I pulled the fuse to get it to stop. I'm more confused now

OK THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED 100%

(i think haha, i should say 99%)

You didn't program it right, I'll tell you step by step.

1). Go in the car and close the doors
2). Put the key in and move it to the II position (ONCE IT IS IN THE II PRESS LOCK OR UNLOCK YOUR CHOICE)
3). GO BACK TO POSTION 0! REPEAT THIS 3 TIMES WITHIN 4-5 SECS! (so go to II and click lock or unlock and then back to 0)
4). On the 4th Twist go to Position III so the rpms blink and etc.
5). Once you have done it 3 times and your in the III position YOUR IN PROGRAM MODE! Click what you want to Program. So click lock, unlock, trunk, panic. AFTER EVERY SINGLE CLICK YOU SHOULD HEAR THE DOORS CYCLE.
6). Once your done Go to position 0 and pull out the key.

Your Done! Happy haveing a keyless remote! Pm me if you have any questions.

Your remote should work perfectly. DId this not too long ago.

So.... None of this worked. Took it to Honda and they said they would need about three hours and $300 to fix it. I found it ridiculous that they tried to problem shoot it without even putting the fuse back in. So I'm still stuck on it

$300? You could have a quality aftermarket alarm w/ remote start for that price... Sheesh.

The fact that the ALARM went off proves that it's still hooked up. Check to see if all wires are still hooked up. Maybe the remote is bad? You might even be able to find out who "unhooked" it and take it back to them. You might lucky and the tech will remember the car, and fix it quick n easy.

And why did she have it unhooked? She could just... not use the remote? It sounds to me like the remote's dead and the little old lady hoodwinked ya
