Unhappy Need help for my ITBs

Hey everyone. Ive had my TWM ITBs on my car with 440 injectors for 2 years now and have had this problem since day 1. This is my 2nd kit ( first one was a Jenvey) and ran fine.

Okay so heres my problem. Whenever I drive my car normal it runs fine. But whenever I hit the gas and it hits about 7000RPMs, it begins to bog on me. Happens everytime. It seems to struggle badly to get to 9k. My vtec was lowered to 4700 and run great until it hits 7k.

I thought it maybe my vtec solenoid but it was replaced with the same results.
My guess and several mechanics guesses were maybe its my fuel. They say its either my FPR or my Fuel pump. They said its prolly not getting the proper amount of fuel its supposed to be getting. It maybe my fuel pump cause 2.5 years ago I pulled into a gas station and they were selling water instead. So I had a 80% tank of water in it that I had flushed out. So the pump might be damaged.

As for the FPR, the FPR is on my fuel rail and not sure how I can run an aftermakrt FPR on it. TWM said my FPR is fine and its not my problem.

So after taking it to 3 shops and 8 hours of street tune, this where I am at.

So any advice or help is appreciated.

-Roger

I still think it is in the tune Roger. I would like to see what it looks like on a wideband. I would think that if it was a fuel delivery problem it would show up more than just at 7k RPM.

Install an inline fuel pressure guage, install a wideband or go to a shop that has a dyno and do a few pulls. Any of these will help you pinpoint the issue if it is indeed fuel related.

Only things i can think of:

Fuel related, electrical related, or timing/tune is off. If its not fuel, i would check all your grounds and your coilpacks, then the timing tune you got. It also wont hurt to whack your MAP...

Yea thats a thing I forgot to mention. When the shop was doing the street tune, my car was going through coil packs constanly. I replaced I think maybe 4 coil packs when it was at the shop. Ive only had it happen once since Ive gotten it within these past 2 years.

I was thinkin I should get the FP gauge for the the inside to see what it is at 7k.

About the tuning, I emailed and IMed Mase but he hasnt responded to me at all yet :thumbdwn: I know hes prolly busy but yea.

Thanks for the tips so far.
