Default False Fuel Levels

I had just gotten my Vortech Supercharger installed when i was driving to work 2 days later it started acting crazy. Fuel pressure dropped to 30psi and car started stuttering. I checked the fuel level and it was reading 1/3 tank. I started driving and it was stuttering like it was starving for fuel. Then it the car just quit running. I checked for pinched fuel lines and listened for the fuel pump to come on and everything was fine. The shop that installed my blower took it to the shop and started trouble shooting it. Come to find out, the gas tank was bone dry. Absolutely no fuel in the tank. Filled it up and everything is running great now. Has anyone ever had their S2K give you a false fuel reading and then run out of gas??

Don't use the fuel pump sock that comes with the Vortech kit. It's angled and blocks the senders float arm. The sock is meant for an Integra, not a S2000.

Reuse the S2000 sock or get a new one.

Otherwise you have to bend the float arm around to clear the angled sock. With the angled sock the fuel pickup is not flat on the tank, and can lead to fuel starvation under cornering.

It's the part that is attached to the fuel pump inlet. I don't have any pics of one.
