Need help quick...
I've had the same clicking noise twice. The first time I mentioned it to the master mechanic at the dealer who works on my car, he said that it is the rear spindle nut moving back and forth (rotating) slightly. He said that they see it all the time on other Honda models. The fix is to take off the nut, lubricate it and them put it back on. They've done this on my car twice and this fixed it each time.
I don't have the manual with me, but the way I understand it, the spindle nut is a crown nut, meaning that it has notches all around the edge. The spindle has a hole for a cotter key. After the nut is screwed on, the cotter key is inserted through the notches and the hole to keep the nut from turning. Since the cotter key doesn't fit snugly, the nut can turn slightly.
I was shot down when I posted this before, but I've had the clicking sound twice and each time this is what the dealer did to fix it.

Andrew,
it's not uncommon, atleast my own exprience, to have only one side of the brakes do this. I had a similar problem with my maxima, on the rear driver side. Except since it's FWD I know it was brake related. But it first started out occuring only under certain situations, like backing up, etc. Then it got worse, happened all the time expect when the brakes where applied or the hand brakes pulled. Finally I just replaced the pads and re-seated everything.

We're narrowing it down, that's for sure. Shing, thanks for the post...but I think TFota has what I'm hearing nailed. Could you be just a little bit more specific T? Is this part of the suspension? Who has a manual handy?
