Don't buy it.
Engine in the coils? What does that mean? If it's in the engine (combustion chamber) then they could've hydrolocked the engine which means possible bent/broken rods and/or other devastating issues.
Either way... sounds like they did something stupid to the car. I wouldn't be comfortable buying it at this point.
Also, did they definitively say that the CEL was due to a Misfire code? If so, which one? If not... what is the code?

Forget it. Don't even bother with it. You can never know what they actually did to it. Water caused by pressure washing....BS!!! You would see alot more other vehicles hydrolocking from pressure washing which is not the case.

I had this happen in a Volvo 850 Turbo and it was fine. It's very easy to get water in there when you wash the motor.
this stuff can happen, but usually its because the coil is cracked, i still wouldn't feel good about the purchase though
