Default need help with test pipe install

allright I got 3 bolts off no problem then one I broke loose but it started to tighten up the bolts are really rusted and corroded so I put more presure and the bolt snaped off with the nut no biggie... then I go to the next one 14 mm wrench fits like a glove but the bolt wouldn't budge so I locked the wrench up with another one to get more leverage and it ended up rounding it off, so I'm like screw it its the last bolt and I put vise grips on it and the nut is just a really soft metal and I ended up making it worse and its still on there... what can I do to get this last nut off?

sorry for grammer I'm on my phone

Did you use "liquid wrench" or "WD-40" first?

They get rusted and you have to "snap" them off with a sharp impact. Just putting pressure on it rounds them off.

You might have to drill the last bolt out.

For other applications, you can use "thread extractors"

But if it's still rusted in there, you're better off drilling it out.

Or you could saw it off. When I removed mine, I broke one of the studs too. But I was planning on knocking them out anyways

They make tools to remove rounded nuts too. Sears is your friend.

It would be hard to get a drill in there.

I think this is what Stratocaster is talking about.

Both Craftsman and Irwin make them.

NICE!

More specialty tools to add to the collection! Thanks! I love tools. Sometimes I wander around Sears looking at things I might need....

I normally would buy that after I rounded something off. Sears is only a few miles from my house
