id have a pro look it over. If the light is on it may be for a reason. If work was done in that area and something tinkered with you dont want cover a potential problem.
Pay the money, it may save your life!

ok, if you unpluged it, you are facing the same thing I faced... go Honda dealer, tell them to reset the light..!! cuz without the machine, it won't turn off...!! it shouldn't cost you anything and more than 5 minutes... (if they take your car right away)(claimed that how you know you can't unplug it and plug it back)
hope this helps!

Sorry my friend but your kinda hosed. The SRS system is somewhat "sacrad".....read...don't mess with the airbags!!! In order to reset the DTC you need a service connector (Ref: P/N: 07PAZ-0010100). If your very electro savy you could jump the connector with a Helm Manual and software from http://www.obd-2.com/. Not knowing you or your level of knowledge I would say take it to the dealer for a reset, probably cheapest if you don't know OBD-II.......if you REALLY know your stuff send me a PM. This is not an easy reset; as you apparently have already found out.

You don't have to.
You do need the service manual, or PM me and I will look it up for you. There is a two-pin diagnostic plug that needs to be shorted in sequence to clear any SRS trouble codes. If there truly is a problem (sounds like there is not) then the code will resurface. You will have thrown a code if the key was turned on w/the airbag removed.
