Default need help wiring gauges

my pressure is reading incorrectly 85 psi at idle??
would using from thin gauge wire to thick wire and back to thin gauge affect readings?
or could it be that the pressure is mounted to the engine? (autometer warns of having it mounted to the engine vibration issue) or would it simply something overlooked?

85 for diastolic blood pressure is pretty good
mine is normally around 80 mmHg

What gauge are you talking about?
Where did you hook it up?
