My check engine light came on today. Per Honda Service Center the scanner indicated misfire cylinder #1, #2 and #4. My vehicle is MY02 with 4,900 miles and yes the spark plug recall was completed 10/02. Any ideas on this problem?

I would still check the spark plugs. I had this happen at a racetrack once. All my plugs were loose.

The dealer also mentioned this, however I had the spark plug recall done on 10/02 with 3,562 miles on the vehicle. Not many miles in 5 months, I know I need to drive more.

 

Ok, I just checked the spark plugs at spec 18-20 ftlbs. My 3 yr old wants to know why daddy is working on his new car. I had the same question myself with only 4,900 miles on the clock.
