Thumbs down NEED INFO ON SPOON AIR FILTER

Greetings. I recently got a spoon air filter but am not sure how to maintain it. I was told to use the K&N cleaner solution to clean it. However, I do not know if I am also suppose to use the K&N oil on it after I clean it. Can anyone who knows for sure please tell me if I am suppose to oil it. Thanks!

If it is a Foam air filter the same cleaning kit that is used with a Comptech air filter needs to be used. Comptech filters are made by Unifilter.

You can buy the Comptech filter cleaner kit, it will work with your air filter.

161mph,
thanks for your insight....no one ever seemed to tell me if they oiled it or not...let me ask you, is the filter suppose to be oiled?? logically i would think it is suppose to be but the material it is made of seems like it wouldn't absorb the oil....
