Need a little help with clutch pedal
Hey, I need a little help here. My S2k's clutch pedal is REALLY hard to press down. But sometimes its really light and easy. But a majority of the times its really stiff to press on. I was wondering if there was a quick fix instead of taking it to Honda. Any ideas on what it could be? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks,

That doen't sound too good. My best guess would be that the splines on your clutch shaft no longer have any grease on them, so it's binding. This requires you to drop the tranny to lube the splines. If you have to go that length, you may as well consider replacing the release bearing and possibly the clutch.
With any luck, it may be something simpler. It could possibly be a sticking release fork. You can put some grease on it and see if it helps. Read this thread for guidance: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=201968
It could also be binding in your clutch master cylinder. Check to see what the fluid looks like in the clutch master cylinder, and if it looks pretty dark, you may want to bleed the slave cylinder. Do a search - there are a few writeups on how to do this.
If these both fail to give you any benefit, you will likely have to unbolt your tranny to access the splines and grease them.

I checked my clutch fluid and it looks like coffee. Its really dark. I'll bleed the slave cylinder first to give that a shot. If that does not work, then I'll let the Honda dealer I purchased the car from a month ago worry about my clutch pedal. Thank you for your help!
