Default Need new rotors or what

Hi, I just took my car out after a long winter, I noticed that after about 100kmh, my break pedal pulsates like crazy, I have cross drilled rotors but I think they are a cheap brand, are they warped, will putting them on a brake machine solve the problem or are they shot, Im assuming its cause is beacuse of the cheap metal in rotor, anyway if anybody can chime in it will be appreciated.

A vibration from brakes isn't always a "warped" rotor. http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp...rakedisk.shtml

Having them turned on a brake lathe will probably solve the problem, though. Drilled and/or slotted rotors are hard on machine tips, so they have to be turned slowly, which takes patience. When I do them, I always charge more because of that. If you have them turned, make ABSOLUTE sure that they are within spec. The machinist should have that info. If he doesn't, take your rotors elsewhere. Tell him you want before and after thickness measurements. After having them turned, break them in as if they are new. http://
<a href="http://www.st...tock.shtml

Oh, and since you just took it out of storage, give them a good bleeding!

If they are not warped, then whats wrong friction deposits, it only happens on hard braking, when they heat up.

The deposits are what make them feel warped, causing the vibration. Or, they could actually be warped if they're cheapos as you say they are.
