also water temp is not controlled by the size of the rad.

Temp is controlled by the flow rate capacity and design of the thermostat.

A larger radiator is just able to control transient temperature increases better then a smaller radiator due to the larger thermal heat sink..

AKA larger radiator doe not necessary man lower water temps.

True that but mine is 99% autox track
and only take it on road trips on special occasions.
I always let the car come up to temp before driving it and double clutch until the tyranny is up to temp and the rear diff is up to temp.

I have seen my oil temps hit 248F on two different occasions last year when Autoxing
Air temps were in the 105 and the track was near 120 and with 3 drivers the car never shut off except for lunch.

I personally Don’t want my oil temps going above 210/ 220 max

My preferred spot is oil at 210 and water at or below 205 with the goal to keep oil and water temps withign 10F of each other.

and I also am FI roots supercharger
Agree to disagree then. I don't personally don't think 250 peaks will hurt anything. The oil will start to break down in the 280+ range, this is getting off topic though, so I"ll shut up.

Ya off topic. I just like the top and bottom of the motor to be near or at the same temp. My turn to shut up.

mishi is going for around $240.

Theres a 3-row no name for $219
(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...Q5fAccessories)

Theres a Blackworks for $205
(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BLACK...Q5fAccessories)

and another no name for $190
(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-row...Q5fAccessories)

Going with the mishi will really make a dent in my pocket but just wanted to see if anyone else has tried/experienced any other aftermarket radiators

I had overheating problems and was reluctant to admit it was my head gasket (as a result of bad tuning). So I tried everything, including a cheap chinese manufactured aluminium radiator.

The radiator I got was an ASI brand. It has a 52mm core and three rows.

Fit is fine, except the bottom mounts for the fan shroud were too high. I cut them off and welded them lower. StevHarr has the same radiator and just bent his mounts. I also shortened the mounts so the shroud mounts closer to the radiator.

Radiator is fine. Keeps the car with temp range perfectly and doesn't take too long to get up to temp.

All that said, money no option, I'd go a PWR with built in oil cooler.

I've got the mishimoto. Works great! Car heats up in the same amount of time but the fans don't have to kick in for twice as long. I skipped on the blackworks after reading many reviews that said Fitment sucks on s2000 and many other cars. Read lots of reviews on how the mishimoto fit perfect. The only bad review I saw on a mishi was on a mustang and the core was bad. But that's one out of a hundred reviews.

Also install was 30 minutes and then another 30 minutes to get all the air out of the system.

$240 will make a dent in your pocket?? It's not that much more than no names.
