The crush washer is integrated onto the base of the spark plug.
like when you buy it and take it out of the box, it is already there, and all you do is put it in...or is it a separate piece?

so it is a part of the spark plug?

When you look at a spark plug there is a metal washer that is captured where the threads meet the body of the plug. That is the crush washer. When you first install the plug it crushes when the correct torque is applied, ensuring a correct seal with the head. On later installations, after an inspection for example, it will still seal properly as long as the plug is correctly torqued. In the S2000, 18 lb-ft is the value that is recommended.

"Integrated" means that it is part of the plug.
