New Car Possibility Blown Motor
Had the car for about 3 days now. Drove it approx 4hrs home from seller. Did wonderful. Drove it again 2 days later only A few miles then heard a strange tick upon arriving at my destination. Sound went away after letting the car idle for a few min. Did a few quick revs, everything seemed normal. But upon further inspection under the hood I fear the worst. Looks like fresh oil mostly around the TCT. Oil levels are good but after letting the car sit for an hour I have noticed a few fresh drops of oil underneath. Options?

But since oil levels are good and after 6hrs of letting the car sit I only see 2 very small oil drops below the car I may give this a shot.
Thank you.

Oil under pressure can spray anywhere. Drop by the Honda store and get the right oil filter before the cleanup. Heck, and oil and filter change will provide some evidence of damage (or no damage). Pull a half a cup as a sample half way thru the drain and send it to Blackstone. They'll send a post-paid sample kit -- just ask for one (or two). Strain the remaining oil and look for stuff that's not oil. Hopefully nothing shows up.

Just take the oil filter off and cut the can off at the base plate. Look at the filter media, that will tell you if you have problems with your engine. Cut the media and lay it flat, take a pic and post it. If you can't tell if somethings not looking right, someone on here will chime in and tell you what they see on the filter media. You can do this tonight, don't even have to warm up the oil first because whats in the oil will be trapped in/on the filter media already.

Thanks everyone. Plan is to change the TCT, the oil, and put a proper Honda filter on. Hopefully I can tell if something happened when I change it all out.
About the TCT. If that was the source of my leak & I change it. Should I be worried that the timing may be off? Sorry for all the questions but I’m still learning this platform.
I appreciate all the help everyone.

Don't clean that oil residue with brake cleaner like a silly. Not sure if anyone mentioned this.
I would use diluted dish soap and a brush to agitate it, and then rinse/repeat. Or simple green, if you're using it on a cool surface and rinsing it off quickly.
