I just had a new clutch installed today. It took the shop 7.5 hrs. The vortech supercharger didn't have to be removed, but the alternator did. With the alternator removed this freed up enough room to drop the subframe out from under the car.
The ACT PP, Toda Flywheel and OEM disk feels awesome! I am taking it easy and shifting at 5500.
I killed the car twice leaving the shop and once at a stop sign. It is sensitive.
Just wanted to post an FYI and to clear up many questions regarding this subject

cmis2k, does it feel any different from the oem?
Did you read my thread about slipping clutch?
I am not sure why there is a "break in" thing for the clutch but that's what most ppl believe in. Take it easy on the clutch buddy just to be safe
Mine has improved since last time I reported it slipping. I wonder if the clutch was too hot, back then as I just came back from a hill run when I noticed that it slipped.

I have the same setup except a Spoon FW. A little more clutch force required with your left foot, but much better feel than stock. Engagements are much more positive. I've put about 100 miles on my car since the turbo/clutch install (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=135964 ) and I haven't stalled out once. This is what stock should have been.

That's not bad. The shop I had my clutch done at took an amazingly quick 2.5 hours or so. Dropped the subframe pretty low, then tilted the tranny / motor back enough to get all the bolts.... bam! Tranny's out and that's it.

WTF is because the supercharger was left in. Many people on this board stated that the SC had to be uninstalled. He did this with the SC still in the car. So WTF? huh?
A local owner did his own install and took him over 15 hours of install time and he didn't have a SC on his car.
