Default New Fuel injectors and CEL (P0302)

I have been having intermittent problems with the ECU throwing a P0302 code and illuminating my dash with a static CEL for about 6months now.

To rectify the problem the local stealer has replaced the spark plugs, coil packs and the MAP sensor. I have tried several bouts of various injector cleaner too. After spending a fortune and with no avail, it has become very frustrating.

The symptoms are: exhaust emissions are not flowing out smoothly, it is pulsating out of both the exhausts, during idle.

I must include that the car drives smoothly and idles smoothly too.

Upon resetting the ECU the CEL light disappears for around 240 miles and then comes back.

I could be wrong but the only thing left to check are the fuel injectors and I was wondering how difficult it is to remove them, as I want to send them away for flow testing and cleaning.

Cheers

It's not too hard to change out injectors. Sometimes the fuel line connection can be tricky. Recommend getting new fuel line seal washer and a set of seals for the injectors before starting. I pinched a seal on the top of an injector one time and cut it. Fortunately I had extras.

You may want to read this thread if you have not already. Good luck.
