Default Bad Fuel Injectors?

I think my fuel injectors are bad..I took it to get scanned and they said cylinder misfire in 1 and 3 so i changed the coil packs and the sparkplugs and reset the car and the light came back the next day. When I stop at a light it shakes a little bit and boggs but not to much, then when I start moving it seems to be running fine..some told me it might be the injectors. Help please thanks

HI there

I have a similar problem also. My S doesn't seem to missfire but when stationary in traffic the engine seems to either flood with petrol or not get enough.

My Honda garage recommended changing the injectors at a cost of

ANY CEL? First (easiest) thing to do is adding some good (Chevron or Redline) injector cleaner to your fuel. Next try cleaning the IAC valve and throttle body with Seafoam or carb cleaner. Final places to check for idle problems are O2 sensor reading, fuel pressure, ignition timing, and TPS sensor reading.

Injectors are pretty easy mechanical work. But you do need a Helm's manual or at least written instructions if you've never worked on them before. FOR INSTANCE bleed off the pressure in the fuel rail before doing any disassembly, or else it will shoot fuel everywhere. If you are careful you can usually reuse the O-rings, just make sure to lube them with some grease.

I have a set of OEM injectors with less than 5000 miles on them.
I have a spare set of O-rings as well.
It's an easy DIY installation. Takes less than an hour if you're slow.

My S2000 had similar symptoms. My injectors were sticking open and flooding the engine, causing a bad idle and slight hesitation. Eventually it got so bad, that the ECU started freaking out, and the car would shut off. So after replacing the injectors, the car ran great, until the fuel pump went out two weeks later. There is definitely an issue with your fuel system.
