Thanks Reds2. I wish I had them for MM3. Oh wells. I looked at the pics on www.carandmodel.com, and my s2k looks like a 4x4 now. hahahhaa

gernby - i too was suprised when i learned about the spring rates for the TI2000 springs. I am def not a technical guy, but stiffer the spring, stiffer the ride right? So I was excited to see if i can get an aggressive stance, a more level look, and a streetable spring in one. i think i found it!

A stiffer spring will give a stiffer ride, but a stiffer ride is generally necesary when you lower a car. Since you are reducing total travel, you need the spring to be able to do its job with less travel (stiffer).

gernby - The RS*R springs are designed for the performance/street enthusiast. If you are going to race, you should get a set of coilovers. But the way this spring was designed, progressive, will give you a smooth, streetable ride. There are a lot of factors that go into a spring other than spring rate and drop, for example, the number of coils. You can have more coils and less spring rate and achieve a smoother ride on a car with less coils and the same rate. Am i more of less on the right track?

Anyways, a lot of stuff goes into the design, and i'm sure the #1 spring mfg in japan knows what they are doing with their flagship line of springs.

To each his own, but i love em!

No wonder! I was behind you during the first legs of MM3 and was thinking... "Hm, this dude is a RS*R fanatic. He's got the emblems, plate frames, cat-back..."

Anyway, the height looks good

Are you going to upgrade the shocks?

hitman - yup, that was me! thanks for the compliments. i want to upgrade the shocks in about 2 months. I wanted to see how they were with the stock shocks, to get a good feel for the springs on the stock shocks. That way, I can give an accurate review on them.

Volks. CE28N in bronze or LE28N in Gunmetal with a polished lip. Not sure yet. Either way, they will be 17's.
