Default New TCT didn't help

I had the ususal noise at startup from the timing chain tensioner. It was only intermittent or when the car sat for a couple of weeks or when the temperature dropped into the 40's. Last night, we had a drop to 38 degrees here in North Florida and it made the noise again this morning on initial startup. That wouldn't have been too bad, but I replaced the tensioner yesterday! It is running quieter, I guess the noise gradually had become louder and I just did not realize it.
It is a MY 2003 with a little over 73,000 on it, so no real complaints since this is the only repair I have ever had to make. I would like to say that I received quick service on the part from Hardtopguy, one of the site sponsors. I did the install myself at my shop. The writeups(FAQ) and a Helms made this something anyone with a 10mm socket, a 3/8 ratchet and a 5/16 hex bit can do.
It will be interesting to see if the intermittent noise has gone away. I can live with the noise on the four days a year that we have sub 40 temps!

if its temp related maybe a thinner oil is better for start up.

The temperature is up again into the high 70's and the noise is gone. I have not had any intermittent or startup noises.
