WOW! A Honda dealership actually gave you a 2003 to do that with? I've seen a few Honda dealerships stretch out to actually offer the Jackson Racing Supercharger as a dealer installed accessory for preludes/civics, but a turbo? I'm guessing they're really lenient on warranty work because I can just see all the turbo Honda's coming in for warranty work in California.

That's great news Xerd. Keep trying for that CARB cert and I will be buying one next year, if everything works as promised.

Hope that cleared up some questions.

Thanx.
so what is your target for HP gains?
With 5 psi we are looking at what.... 300 HP ~ 250 - 260 RWHP?
hmm....$4000 and then I have to buy a VAFC and tune it...hmmm....
When you say it is good for 450HP, do you mean the turbo you have chosen can only produce enough boost for 450HP?

We got in the car this morning and will post some pictures of it later tonight. The Honda dealership is called Honda World and they are located in Westminister, CA.

Why is it so hard to believe that a Honda dealership is willing to give us a car for the project? they are going to be using the car for their own advertising as well. This will be the managers personal car after this project is completed.

Thanx.

Andy
Hypertune choose to mount there turbo up top because there is more room up top which allows them to run a bigger turbo. The turbo on the Hypertune kit is larger than the turbo speedcraft uses. Hope that helps.

Hypertune kit is also made for right hand drive. It is possible to put it on a left hand drive with some modifications to a/c lines and heater hose.

rott. It isnt impossible for a dealer to make a deal with a company for producing a turbo. The dealer that Xerd went through is lending them the car (Not selling) and they are getting it back after the kit is produced. Simple as that. As far as the kit goes I am sure it will be very stable considering they are going to high precaution to keep risk down. Good luck xerd.
