Am I reading this wrong? 155hp stock? 260hp max with SC?

whats wrong with the car? it only made a peak of 155 RWHP stock.

but 260 RWHP is really NOT impressive, even with the cooler installed.

somehthing must be wrong with the car, or they were not using a DynoJet.

The dyno sheet says "...Mustang MD 250 chassis dyno". Not a Dynojet. The Mustang dyno's read lower than a Dynojet.

Something is still wack since the "before" dyno clearly does not cross at 5252 which is mathematically impossible. My guess is they superimposed the SC dyno and the scale got out of whack in the translation. What a bunch of clowns to put up what is clearly a bogus dyno.

What's up with the dropoff at 8400RPM? The blower should be making power all the way up to 9K, so why did they let off?

If the 157 peak stock HP is scaled to 200HP, that means the vortech makes a scaled 331 peak HP. Impressive!

One rumor I heard was that under the original tuning parameters Honda used, the S was faster than the NSX, and (given all the dyno's I've seen with the mysterious dropoff past 8400RPM) it looks like they purposely screwed up the timing at the top end to cut some power.

Interesting. The "mysterious" dropoff occurs in the stock baseline curve as well. How much HP does a stock S2 make on a Dynojet?

for comparison purposes, i had a mustang dyno several weeks ago, comptech SC with VAFC. the plot starts at about 40 mph which is why the start of the graph goes up so steeply, and it stops at max HP, so the usual drop past the 8700 rpm is not seen. also dropped the vtec engagement to 5600.

they claimed that the mustang is usually 20-30 hp lower than a dynojet. we went to curry's after Hiro had the poor feedback using AA. he also had a few pulls at curry's after i went, and i think he was in that 20 hp less area. if he reads this, perhaps he can post his AA (dynojet) vs Curry's (mustang) number so people used to dynojet graphs can take that variable and add to my figures for comparison purposes.

i did not have a baseline dyno of the car before installing the SC. was scheduled to go, found a guy selling the SC that weekend, figured go for the power and not spend money tuning VAFC with Injen CAI that was coming off the next day.
