Default NGK Copper Spark Plugs

was wondering which NGK Copper Spark Plugs shall I use in my F20? which part number?

I know OEM is NGK 7772 Laser Iriduim but i don't mind the short interval if it performs better

Aren't the NGK (7772) PFR7G-11S Laser Platinum the OEM Spark Plugs?

I use ngk 4554. That is a step colder plug for when I was using nitrous. I left them in and have no issues.

NGK (7772) PFR7G-11S plugs are specified in the 2000-207 shop manual and my MY06 owners manual. The Denso PK22PR-L11S (also platinum) is also specified (OEM) and they were in my '06 when I bought it.

No such thing as a non-platinum plug with either part number.

The copper plug won't perform any better in your naturally aspirated setup, people use them in forced induction setups as they have strong center electrodes and they tend to be swapped out frequently and cost less per plug, they are a good bang for the buck. You can run copper, plats, and Iridiums and they will all perform similarly, it just depends how often you want to swap them out and how much you want to pay per plug.

Power wise no plug is better than another. Copper, platinum, iridium is all about longevity. The best plugs are the freshest plugs. For me I like changing plugs often so I use copper 8 heat range.
