Default nitrous

How do these cars handle n20? I just bought my car, it has 6k on it. I would like to add n20 and am wondering what the pros and cons are. Please go easy on me.

There are quite a few people here who run 75-80 shot of nitrous. Haven't heard of anybody running both SC/Turbo & nitrous, but 75-80 shot should be about maximum (safely) for a 4 cyl. engine.

Luckily we have forged pistons too, so that's another plus.

SOme run 35 shot with s/c! I think 55 shot would be safe normally aspirated. Any thing more ya run a slight risk. Change to colder plugs our your gonna have trouble. 75 or 80 seems high unless ya got progrssive control and are a wiz with tuning for nitrous....doable but risky!

what will happen if I run NOS with stock plugs? I was going to purchase a fogger system with a 50hp shot.

BOOM! They don't take heat well and can cause detonation. You can get holes in your pistons which look cool but don't work well. Get regular plugs. Zex has some cool looking nitrous friendly plugs. www.zex.com

stock plugs will heat up really fast like two or three seconds of nitrous. Can really f-up your engine bad!
