I'm putting a test pipe on the car tomorrow knowing that the CEL is going to come on. My question is does anything else happen aside from the light coming on. I know that on some cars the computer will downgrade the performance when it senses a bad cat. Thanks in advance.

 

i think that it goes to limp mode it is obvious but a lot of people do it and claim higher dyno # 's so i wudnt sweat it

 

I used one of those spark plug anti-foulers on my test pipe's O2 sensor - haven't had any CEL's at all. Why are you expecting to get a light ??

 

I've done a little research and the anti-foulers don't have a very high incident of working on drive by wire s2k's.

 

Yea it doesnt work well on 06+ cars, I dont even have a second o2 and im still on stock ecu, everything runs the same.
