Default No Hondabond in Aus

Hey just wondering what you guys would recommend to seal our oil pans with if you didn't have hondabond readily available in your country? Why do they say use ONLY hondabond? We have many sorts of different sump sealants, would a specific type do? Or should I order from eBay and wait 3 weeks for delivery? Wanted to source one today if possible though. Thanks guys

Permatex Ultra-Grey sealant is exactly the same , been using it for years. You should have it over there. They make red, black, blue , and grey, you want the grey stuff.

Sealed my OEM pan and my Canton pan with grey rtv (permatex) no leaks.

Just make sure you clean both surfaces well and follow the directions on install
