No....you have to pull the crank pulley and timing cover. The manual says to pull the head to pull the timing cover, but If you slick you can do it without.

still quite a job....

So is the pulse ring missing?

There's no timing to adjust. It's all controlled by the computer. This shit still isn't working?

Do you have spark? What's your fuel pressure? What's the compression on all 4 cylinders?

Checked everything with the oscope and im getting apulse and then in cuts out. gettin to pulse then it just goes. back probed the ecu and all the grounds and every sensor is working fine. thought it might be the immobilizer so i took it to the dealer and they said it might be that the cams are off.

Hi!

I have the same problem this week, after installing the jdm pistons on my car, and thank's to Billman 250 info. we found that the ground on the back was unbolt.

After we put the ground back everything was fine.

Before that we have a poor spark, almost none., the car crank and nothing happens.

Now it's time to test the car.

Thank's for your help!

hey bill took the car to school (UTI) and everything as far as sensor was ok. the only thing was the scanner was reading the immobilizer was always on. My school didnt have the program to set the immobilizer. i decided to take to honda and they told me they need to start by checking the timing. they were charging me 9-10 hours of labor so ive decided to just have the car towed back to my houase and try to troubleshot it myself.
