Default no VTEC part 3

took it to a dyno to see what the A/F was doing. at about 5.5k it starts to richen, then by 6k the A/F is so rich it's off the charts. swapped the VAFC with a brand new one out of the box, no dice. disconnected the VTEC control from the VAFC, no dice. tried leaning out the mixture with the VAFC, no dice. Why would the ECU dump so much fuel into the engine??? I'm hoping to swap ecu's w/ someone next week to see if mine is fried. Think of any other mechanical explanation for this behavior?

you got any way to check the CEL to see if there's more than just the CAT/O2 code? can you run the car w/ just the open header for a quick experiment?
