I really don't know if this is normal because i normally don't turn on the a/c until when i'm driving. Anyways today i realize that when i turn on my A/c it makes this "lawn mowing" right at the passenger area. As i raise it more it gets louder and louder. I found this out when i was at idle and kind of scared that i might have to replace the whole thing. Has anyone ever had this problem before? I have MY00 with a CEL from the air pump.

 

It's probably the fan going bad. It happens in all cars after a few years.
