Default Noisy Trans after long drive

I've noticed that my transmission is a bit noisy after I have been driving at high speeds for extended periods (80MPH for an hour or more)... It's not loud and it doesn't feel like a vibration or anything is grinding or rubbing, it's more of a mild howl, mostly noticeable in 5th and 6th on the highway at idle speeds. It doesn't seem to have any effect on performance or shift, I couldn't ask for a smother shift...

Any ideas? I am running the new HMTF and it is fresh and looks clean, not metal on the new magnetic drain plug... Maybe it foams at high speeds for extended periods? Maybe it's just noisy due to the design? Maybe 2 quarts isn't enough? Please help.

Not sure the fluid capacity but, isnt it in the owners manual? If you recently changed it you would definitely start there.

Don't know about the capacity, but mine does it too.
I noticed that after a hard run on the dragons.
I was thinking of changing the fluid for the first time.

Mine has always done this - whine when hot, old and new fluid.

Maybe it is normal... I'll keep changing the trans oil every 10k and make note of the magnetic drain plug. I guess as long as there isn't much metal everything should be fine.

I may try to get the car on the highway until it starts making the sound again then get her home real quick, lift her up and drain her oil to check for foaming. It will be hot as f*** but it's a quick way to find out if it's foaming... I know oil foaming will settle pretty quick but if the oil is real white with lots of small air bubbles in it then we will know. Who know what to do if it is foaming though, HMTF seems to make my car shift the best...

Just wanted to see if anyone else noticed the same sound under the same situation and from what it sounds like a few others have...

Sure, it's under warranty but if I take it in without having any idea of what the problem is then I am less likely to get it resolved. The Honda dealers I have been to haven't been the best troubleshooters. Maybe someone here has experienced this issue and successfully resolved it. Whatever information they may have could help myself and others. It is also likely that it isn't an issue at all. Maybe people have had this sound for years without any issues. That would also be good to know.

Lets just see where it goes and what people have experienced.
