Hey guys, well I just went out to top off my oil and went to check my coolant and I could not even see it. I had to stick my head down the engine bay to see some fluid at the little bubbled bottom of the tank.

My engine is completely cool. What should I fill this up with, or do I need a reading with the engine warm?

I know your supposed to mix it with water and what not. TIA

 

Check your owners manual for type of fluid to use. Any fluid you buy should be already premixed. Do not add water. It's not to early to flush the fluid, even though the manual says you can leave it in there 10 years. I had Honda flush mine at 3 years/30K miles. They recommend 45 K.

 

thanks indymac! I bought a qt from my local honda dealer. They actually knew what I was talking about when I asked for coolant type 2. crazy.

Yeah I need to flush it, I just have not gotten around to it yet. Thanks again!
