is this normal after lowering?
what is the spring rate you are running? that is important to look at when swapping springs. if you run too stiff or too soft a spring rate, the factory struts will not be evenly matched- causing it to 'bounce' so to speak.
im pretty sure the symptom youre experiencing is due to the factory struts. i would suggest getting a set of adjustable struts or if you want to go all out get some coils.
try this: open the trunk and push up and down to see how much the car moves. have a buddy observe how much the car moves up and down. then if you have access to another S2000- do the same thing and compare. if you notice excessive movement with your S2000, versus the other, you know your struts are not matched to the springs.

i'm lowered 1inch on eibachs, love em. no alignment, asa ar1s, car handles amazing!
A good alingment is more usefull than a cheap set of Tein coilovers or springs.
Just my 3 cents.
when i first lowered mine, with no alignment is was horrible. .horrible.
now that it's aligned to uk specs, it handles good. ..but i'm not happy with it. i feel the loss of suspension stroke now, and if i'm on an uneven surface, or a road with slight irregularities it blows.
then again, i lowered it just to lower it. .so i guess i had it coming.

[QUOTE=iwantyourcar,Oct 20 2006, 01:47 PM] ok i lowered my car with tein stechs, a conservative inch id say, and paid for a professional alignment. heres my issue...
i drive on back country roads to work every day, and sometimes the road is tared over and rather slick in spots, and they are bumpy as well, and crowned.

wierd i put in the eibach pros and after and alignment my handling got better
Did you change anything else at the same time you changed the springs?
Are you evaluating handling in normal driving, or handling as the car's limits are approached?
OEM or aftermarket shocks?
