Default Not hitting redline

Hello All,
I went to the track this past weekend and during the later sessions I noticed that after a few laps the car would not rev up to 9k.
As in one lap I would rev up to 9k, the next lap the car will only rev up to 8700 then 8500 and lower with every passing lap.
I thought that it was heat soak as it was a hot day and the car didn't get a chance to properly cool in between sessions but I can't find any info with people having the same situation as me so i thought I'd ask if anyone has had a similar experience and this is indeed heat soak that I am experiencing.
I have an 01 with a k&n intake, catback exhaust, haltech ecu tuned, seiko catch cans, and ingalls torque damper if that info is useful.
Thanks.

Not heat soak at all. I don't know how much you know about engines and how they work and sound if there is a problem, but what you describe can be do to gradually increasing misfires as the season goes on. The question would be, what is causing the misfires.

Could also be starving for gas?? High G turns, less and less fuel in the tank. Not uncommon to come out of a turn and put your foot down and have it feel like you hit a wall intermittently.

Took all of them out today and I can't spot anything except the one for cylinder 3 being blacker than the rest and what looks to be dust/dirt on some of them. I am not expert so I took pics to let others judge.

I like to think that I know a bit about engines and I can't say that I heard anything when I was driving it hard. It would drive like normal, no loss of power, no harsh vibration or sounds, it just started to bounce off the rev limiter before redline so I had to shift up earlier and earlier. I checked it out after the first instance and didn't hear or feel anything wrong with the engine, there was some valve tick but it was quiet so I didn't suspect anything from it.

It only happened on the straights where I was able to reach the high rpms, out of the turns i never felt any power loss but I get what you're saying.

I topped it off before I went onto the track and kept track of it in between sessions. I am anal when it comes to checking my oil level and I never let it drop below the half way point on the dip stick.

Its probably some kind of (overheat?) protection that your tuner added into your tune

Sounds similar to the MAP issue. Those plugs look fine, you want them gray or tan at the electrode tip.
