Notchy shifting between all gears
I read through four different topics and every one is explaining the issue I have but no one said "it's fixed and this is what I did." Does anyone have a solution for this?
As I change gears 1-2-3-4-5-6, I feel a notchiness in the gears. Literally at times, when I put it in 1st, I can feel it "click" two or three time before it is in gear (with the clutch fully depressed). While shifting and at a full stop (just changing gears with the clutch in) I feel the notchiness in all gears. At a stop, I can change all the gears a couple of times and then it magically feels smooth again. Drive a little and it goes right back. Any advise?
Here's some back ground - I have an 07 w/24K. A KW SC, CCI stage 2, 4.56 diff which were installed when I was at 16K. The clutch used to disengaged as soon as the pedal was touched. There is about 2" of free space and I can feel it slowly grabbing as I raise it from the floor. I had one isolated incident where the clutch would only engage at the floor and the pedal went limp (it stayed up until i tried to use it and easily went to the floor...this is really starting to sound like a sexual problem...does my S need viagra?) When I restarted the car, the problem went away.
I am going to start with fluid changes, any advice is greatly appreciated. If the question has been asked and answered, just refer me to the link.

Remove the gear lever, ensure it is greased up nicely. Make sure the spring isn't broken and the nylon washer thingy isn't chewed up.
A helms manual/service guide will tell you the exact procedure, but you need to remove the centre console, gear knob, boot holder, boots and the plate with 3 10mm bolts going through it.
All of the above was was fine on my S, but I still get notchiness in all gears. Holding down the clutch for an extra 0.5 seconds helps, as does shifting at higher revs.
I have new fluid (ATE blue) and slave cylinder, but the problem still persists.
Still worth checking the aforementioned items though.

i just experienced the same thing,
this only happens when the car is on. it feels like putting into to 1st is forced. but all other gears are smooth.
i'm going to change my mtf and also try lubing the gear shifter

This sounds like a clutch problem to me. I would keep bleeding the clutch fluid (while your replacing it with new fluid) until I'm sick of bleeding it and the clutch pressure is as high as I can get it. Also, put a new fill of Honda MTF in the tranny.
