Noticeable vibration between 30-40mph
2005 AP2 here with 63k miles. I have a noticeable vibration between 35-40 mph. The vibration is from the rear, as the steering wheel has no shakes but feels like I am on a cobblestone road in the rear. I lowered my car and thought this can be due to the rear axles. Installed driveshaft spacers but it did not help. Doe this symptom sounds like I need to replace the rear axles?

Ive been struggling with this same issue, Every second thread talks about the same problems.
Seems these cars all have the same issue random misfires and vibrations in the rear end.
ive been trying to differentiate between these 3 possible issues in the rear end which all make noise and vibration. (and I have misfires but this is another story for another day)
1) prop shaft clicking which can be re greased inside the two ends to stop shaking and vibrating (clicking)
2) drive shaft- swap inner cups -save cash swapping also save boot clamps if possible plus re grease.
3) rear Diff. No idea. here I just prey that its not the Diff.
I need to get myself some inner driveshaft spacers.
following thread to see where it goes. I think mine must be the drive shafts but re greasing the 1 & 2 seems like service that is needed ???!!!???
in for info.

Is there a DYI on performing number 2? I am hoping it is not the diff too but I do get weird pops and thump sounds from the rear, I think that is from the suspension.
to the other post on if it vibrate while on neutral, I will do a more measured test today. Never thought of doing that before.

3 months later and I finally found time to get this problem resolved. Hopefully this will help someone out. There were two things wrong with my car. First the shaking is from two bent rear wheels. I was surprised to find this out as I replaced the tires recently and the tire shop did not mention anything about it. I would had though it would make balancing difficult.
The second thing was one of my rear end link failed. It did not cause vibration but definitely the culprit for the popping noise I’ve been hearing which had been progressively getting worse.
