Default A Novice question about supercharger install

Hey everyone,

The time has finally come, they break ground on my baby on Monday. A quick question though,

Any suggestions on parts to replace while they are in there installing my SC? I hear something about an oil bolt, what the heck is that?

Also, would replacing the clutch while the car is up be any easier when installing the SC?

Thx for the advice guys.

Change the clutch, you will need it.

If you haven't already, do the Mugen t-stat, fan switch and radiator cap. This is a nice combo to add while your doing the S/C.

My friend actually got one of the Vortech engineers to install it for me, he developed most of the kit for the s2k, his name is Chris. Personally, I think it's pretty comforting Anyone know what a new clutch would cost, say, like an ACT one installed?

Install is expensive on the clutch. Especially if you already have the supercharger installed cuz you have to lower the motor to do it and the supercharger where it is mounted wont let you lower it. So my advice (speaking from experience) is to replace it before you install the supercharger
