SO LOOKING TO INSTALL MY PERSONAL 350MM NEO GRINTA NRG SHORT HUB AND NRG 2.5 RELEASE. I KNOW I HAVE TO REMOVE THE SRS REEL. BUT I DO NOT WANT THE SRS LIGHT ON! I SEARCHED INTO THE WEEEE! HOURS LAST NIGHT AND COULD NOT FIND A DEFINETE ANSWER ON HOW TO MAKE AND USE THE SRS FIX! I DO KNOW HOW TO RESET IT IF IT DOES COME ON AFTER I REINSTALL THE BATTERY.. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT I DO WITH THE REEL CONNECTOR IF I JUST LOOP A WIRE OR WHAT WHEN I REMOVE THE SRS REEL.. THANKS AND SORRY FOR ALL CAPS USING THE POS WORK COMPUTER

 

nrg short hub remove srs reel? and if so how do i use the srs fix?

 

if its the SRK-130H yes need to remove the reel, but if its the SRK-131H you dont.

 

Yeah there're 2 versions, the cheaper one remove the SRS reel and the horn doesn't work unless you mod a horn contact behind the hub. The 2nd version cost about $50 more comes with SRS resistor bypass, work with horn with SRS reel in place etc.

Cost more but worth it
