The code is P0135: o2 sensor heater circuit

I, however, have a test pipe with an 02 sensor it it, but i do not have the long spacer that some people use. Does that matter?

yes you need that spacer. that's probably why your check engine light is on. BTW is it BANK 1 sensor 1 or sensor 2?

from my experience the bosch ones dont work well on some hondas. The heater circuit basically preheats the o2 sensor to get better readings I believe, which should throw a different code than an o2 sensor that is out of spec. When does the code pop up? right after 3 bars? that could tell you alot. Was it an s2k specific sensor?

another thing - if you bought your Bosch from ebay - a lot of fake ones over there.
the real Bosch can't cost 40$.

even if it's genuine - you might got damaged one.
or there is a electrical problem with heater circuit...

No it is completely unrelated. It should go off after just a few starts if it is fixed.

Yeah, I've never seen the Bosche go for cheap.

But, the direct plug in replacements from Delphi, Walker and Denso work fine.

I've gotten them all for great pricing from www.oxygensensors.com
