Default o2 sensor question on 06+ MY

I've done some googling and havent really found an answer. So I am pretty sure my o2 sensor is damaged (cat comb came dislodged and dented it, so I gutted the cat and did a cel fix, still didnt fix the p0420, so I put on my berk headerback and same result). Another member is wanting to sell his o2 sensor off his 2004 S2000, but I notice that the part numbers are different for 06 and up.

Do you have flash pro? I believe you can disable the secondary o2 (the one in the cat/TP)

If you have a code P420, then you don't need a new o2 sensor.

You need to try different angles/configurations with your o2 spacers.

Thanks Bill! It's got a considerable dent in it, where the outter metal casing is touching the inner metal on the head of the sensor, but if the you think the sensor is still viable I trust your judgement. The Berk has a bung on it about two inches long, and the defoulers are slightly shorter. I might try putting one of the defoulers on and see if that makes any difference. P0420 is the only code being thrown

You need a right angle spacer, point it towards the front of the car.

Even with the outer cover broken on the o2, it will still function normally.

one defouler added and still threw a code. Now I have two on but need to test drive. If this doesn't work I'll look for the angle spacer. Thanks Bill! See you soon brotha!
