O4 Comptech s/c and aftercooler
Need advice,
Sold stock 02 Monday of this week. 04 due Mid January.
Giving lots of thought to Comptech s/c with Aftercooler. I have it sourced and am ready to buy.
Any thoughts, such as how long to break in before installing
1. Should I go with 8 lbs boost? I do not want to kill the motor.
2. Change to larger radiator?
3. Clutch change? Flywheel change? Mostly street driving, not my dailey driver. Recommended clutch?
4.Extra large radiator (heat exchanger) for aftercooler?
5. Fuel managment--
a. change injectors?
b. change plugs?
I am ready to do this and need advice on best options to add and when.
I have a local shop that I trust t do the work.
They suggest
s/c with after cooler, larger radiator.Buy the larger pulley but do not install for many miles.
Change injectors.wait until I kill the stock clutch & diff before replacing.
I would like to draw off of the experiance of this group to help me make my choices.

8 lbs should be fine
changing to a larger radiator is not needed but it helps though you are already buying an after cooler
wait till your clutch goes out then get a high performance clutch and flywheel combo.
fuel management i think aem has one or greddy emanage, ask wesmaster about that one
i would go with larger injectors
plugs, get ones that are one step colder
thats my opinion on FI systems... I have made my own turbo system for my car.

I'd say just go with the SC and Aftercooler. Trust me, there's plenty of power with the standard boost. Once you get bored of 300 rwhp, then go with a smaller pulley.
If you have extra money to burn, can't hurt to reinforce the differential and replace the pressure plate with, say, an ACT one.
And while it's all apart it's the best (and least expensive) time to drop in a flywheel--Spoon, Toda, Comptech--no real difference between any of 'em except how easy it is/isn't to get one.
No break-in is required for the SC, but you may want to wait till you have a few thousand miles on the S2000. Way I figured was if something was to go wrong with the car it'd go wrong within the first 5000 miles. I didn't want Honda denying a valid warranty claim because of the supercharger.

Last Friday CT put one on an 04 for design reasons.I am told the only change is they had to retune. All of the hardware is the same.

The beauty of the Comptech and Vortech kits is that they're "plug and play"...you really don't need anything else, at least until your stock clutch goes.
If you want to mess around w/ replacing all those other parts, maybe a turbo is more up your alley. I know I wouldn't have the patience for one!
