Default OBD-II Code: P411

My buddy Tim (DTMS) installed his AEM intake a few months ago, and he's been getting a CEL. When resetting the ECU, it stays fine till for a few hours of driving or when the car is restarted (As is to be expected). Autozone pulled the code and said it was P411, which is the Secondary Air Intake.

We've checked all the hoses from the intake, and everything is tight and routed right. What exactly should we be looking for?

The little white valve between the two tubes? No.

I actually ran mine without it for a week or two no problems. I'll get Tim to switch it and see, just in case.

You can troubleshoot the problem, its in the factory service manual. But you need the Honda PGM tool (Honda specific ODB-2 scanner) to troubleshoot it.

Incorrect flow in vaccum lines check for misrouting, leakage, breakage or clogging.

If all the lines are correct then it is the air control valve vacuum control solenoid valve...............dam such a long name for a little part........ya might want to check the No. 6 acg (15a) fuse
in the under dash fuse /relay box if it's blown than ya have a short between the the fuse and the guage assembly.

P.s. the the air control valve vacuum control solenoid valve is the piece where all the vacuum line come together the one ya attach directly to the aem cia with a bolt.
good luck.
