Default CEL Code P0411 AFTER Valve Adjustment

CEL light came on after the 1st drive after my valve adjustment.

Just got my codes pulled today. That's the only code that comes back.
Any ideas?

Regards,
Kevin

probably not mechanically related to the adjustment, but check the vacuum hoses on the air injection system they may have been knocked loose or disconnected during the work. Some lines run along the back of the intake box. There is also the solenoid that mounts on the intake box, perhaps the electrical connnector was disconnected if the intake box was removed during the adjustment.

The worst situation would be a dead air pump, check the fuse for it.

I'm going to check over all of that stuff today.

In any case, I found this service bulletin.

I guess my main question with service bulletin would be, does Honda cover the parts and labor? Or are service bulletins just a means of telling people what's wrong with their cars and how to fix it?

Also, I did forget to mention that I do have a test-pipe on the car. Could the 02 sensor on the cat be throwing this code?

Kevin

There are 2 or 3 other CELs that would pop up if the pump itself is bad.

It's your vacuum lines. Double check that they're all connected properly.

Just took a look-see and found that one of the lines got disconnected from the air control solenoid valve.

I put it back on temporarily, but should why type of sealant should I but putting on the connection?

It was #6 in the above image.
