Every vehicle sold in the US after 1996 is OBDII.

can anyone give a pic or good explanation of where the plug is under the dash to read the codes? I was looking around the other day and couldn't find it.

Look on the bottom of the steering column cover, there will be directions where to find the connector. It's in 2 different places depending on what year car you have.

2002 and on is by the driver's right knee, behind the radio and the center console trim.

on 00 and i think 01 models its on the left side of the passanger section by the knee rest

Well, I might have one stupid questions..
I'm going to install Comptech SC soon.
Is that OBDII tester able to regonized that SC kit???

The SC doesn't have anything to communicate to the PCM. The only component of the Comptech SC that the PCM see's is the MAP sensor clamp (ESM). Otherwise, the PCM has no idea a SC is installed.
